College of Fine Arts

The College of Fine Arts at Wichita State University enhances and advocates artistic excellence through teaching, learning and expression. It is comprised of four distinct departments:

School of Music
School of Performing Arts

School of Art and Design
Ulrich Museum of Art

Money for student, faculty, program and project support critical to the success of the college is expected to make up the remainder of the academic priorities, but is not necessarily currently envisioned by academic and Foundation leadership in the detailed format as the priorities listed above.

Endowed Professorship - All three schools

Advanced Photography
Funding for new, state-of-the-art equipment needed to advance photography, with the goal of creating a new major in photography for the School of Art and Design. Essential equipment includes new digital cameras and new printers.

 

Institutional Priorities

Faculty Support (chairs, professorships, teaching fellowships), Student Support (scholarships, fellowships, assistantships), Staff Support.
