Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Memorial gifts are a testimony to the meaningfulness of a life which has passed, while tribute gifts remember a birthday, anniversary or special event.
Many special opportunities exist for memorial and tribute gifts, including contributions to the following:
Families often request that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to WSU in memory of their loved one. We provide the names of donors to the family, keeping individual gift amounts confidential. Each donor is provided an acknowledgment on behalf of the family and WSU, as well as a receipt for their tax-deductible gift. Tribute Gifts
For that person who may "have everything," a contribution celebrating a birthday, holiday, anniversary, retirement or other special occasion is the perfect gift. Make a tribute online or contact Cindy McVicar at (316) 978-3809 or cindy.mcvicar@wichita.edu.
Making a Gift
Online contributions can be made from our online donation page. Please be sure to include the name of the memorial or tribute honoree and any specifics.
To make a gift by phone using your credit card, please contact Cindy McVicar at (316) 978-3809.
If mailing a gift, checks should be made payable to the WSU Foundation. Please indicate the name of the memorial or tribute designation on the "memo" line of your check.
