  • Director of Development – College of Health Professions

    But enough about us, let’s talk about the job. The Wichita State University Foundation is searching for a Major Gift officer to work with our College of Health Professions and as a generalist in an assigned geographic territory. This person will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gift donors. The candidate hired will have achieved major gift fundraising success, possess strong interpersonal skills, be committed to public higher education, and demonstrate strong internal motivation.


    Minimum requirements for the position include:


    • Bachelor’s Degree from acredited institution required
    • Three years development experience at the major gift level in higher education or equivalent experience
    • Must be willing to travel and work occasional weekends and evenings
    • Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance
    • Commitment to the WSU Foundation core values of Integrity, Service, Teamwork and Relationships


    Preferred requirements:


    • Graduate degree from accredited institution
    • Knowledge of Wichita State University and a commitment to higher education
