Alberta Davida Otto Scholarship in Organ

Alberta Davida Otto became interested in playing the church organ while in high school. She enjoyed playing in many different churches, from being an assistant organist in the Baptist church to being the organist at Calvary Presbyterian. She sang soprano and played the piano as an accompanist for many performances in Wichita. Ms. Otto was also a world traveler and devoted animal activist. Her interest in seeing organ continue to be the primary instrument of worship in the church led to the establishment of this scholarship for Wichita State students studying organ performance. Ms. Otto died in 2020.
