Allen Boge Endowed Baseball Scholarship

Allen Boge, vice president of Boge Iron and Metal in Wichita, a 40-year-old family owned business, is an avid Shocker sports fan. He attended Wichita State University for a time, obtaining his degree in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University. A Shocker baseball fan for more than 15 years, he wanted to help keep the program competitive and continue to attract good players. As part of the We are Wichita State campaign, he established the Allen Boge Endowed Baseball Scholarship in 2004. A member of the Society of 1895, Mr. Boge has contributed to the Roundhouse Renaissance as well as other scholarships, continuing the future of Shocker athletics.
