Allen Gibbs & Houlik L.C. Scholarship Competition

The accounting firm of Moberly & West was founded in Wichita in 1938. Nearly fifty years later, members of the firm formed Allen Gibbs & Houlik (AGH) which has grown to be one of the largest accounting firms in the Midwest. CEO Paul Allen has been the driving force behind success that has landed them a very positive local, regional and national reputation. According to Mr. Allen, We set standards. That s our corporate culture. He has served for many years on the Kansas Board of Accountancy and several other board and nonprofits including United Way of the Plains. Mr. Allen helped establish AGH as a company with nontraditional objectives that focus on more than just accounting. AGH s staff is comprised of more than 100 employees and eight business divisions.

In 2000, AGH created the Allen Gibbs & Houlik L.C. Scholarship Competition. The competition takes place each fall for students who will be graduating high school the following May. The scholarship benefits students admitted to WSU pursuing a major in business.
