Anthony Madrigal is a long-time supporter of Wichita State University and an avid Shocker fan. He is the founder and owner of Madrigal & Associates, a commercial insurance firm. He has six children and is married to Miriam, a two-time graduate of WSU with a degree in secondary education and a master’s in Spanish. He has completed several private business leadership and management courses at WSU. The Madrigals reside in Wichita, but love to travel. ‘Wichita’s been very good to me,’ said Mr. Madrigal. ‘This town’s given me so many opportunities.’ He began the scholarship as part of the ‘We are Wichita State’ campaign in 2007. Mr. Madrigal has been a member of the WSU Foundation’s National Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees.
