Don L. and Lee A. Wadsworth Crew Team Scholarship Program

Don Wadsworth rowed in the WSU Crew Program from 1976 to 1979, when he graduated from Wichita State with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He was a member of the WSU Novice 8 that defeated Yale and the Varsity 8 that finished third in the prestigious Head of the Charles. Don continued rowing after graduation and was instrumental in its growth on the Little Arkansas River in Wichita. Don and his wife, Lee, have continued to support the sport of rowing at Wichita State and in Wichita. This scholarship is awarded each year to WSU students on the Crew Team.
