Ilene Bomhoff Scholarship in Digital Arts

A hub for contemporary art, innovative design, fresh thinking and creative risk-taking at Wichita State,  Shocker Studios is home to the new School of Digital Arts. This scholarship supports students pursuing creative expression through the digital arts. Margaret ‘Ilene’ Dunnan Bomhoff grew up in Garden City, Kansas. She married H. Russell Bomhoff of Wichita in 1998. Mr. Bomhoff attended night classes at Wichita University for a short time in the late 1940s. In 1952, he founded Precision Pattern, a manufacturer of aircraft interior design. Mr. Bomhoff passed away in 2015. Ilene’s passions for the arts led her to create this scholarship for Digital Arts students.
