Ken Ciboski Scholarship in Political Science

Dr. Kenneth Ciboski retired from the Political Science Department of Wichita State University in 2017 after 48 years of service. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington. He also received a certificate in Russian from Leningrad State University in the Soviet Union. Dr. Ciboski was instrumental in the creation of the Emory Lindquist Honors Program in the Cohen Honors College. He served as director of the program from 1976-78. Dr. Ciboski also has contributed to public understanding of politics as a frequent guest on public television, public radio and as an expert analyst quoted in print news media. This scholarship is awarded to students studying political science at Wichita State.
