Wheatlands Chapter- Clinical laboratory Management Association (CLMA) Endowed Scholarship

The shortage of qualified medical technologists was recognized as a problem both nationally and regionally by the Clinical Laboratory Management Association. After discussing this issue repeatedly at management meetings, a positive step was taken to create a scholarship geared towards assisting students in the Medical Technology program at Wichita State University to complete their studies and join the workforce. WSU was the school of choice because it had the only remaining Medical Technology program within the geographical area of the Wheatlands Chapter.
