Let’s dream together

We work with dozens of donors each year who make the decision to include a gift in their estate plans to benefit the students and programs of Wichita State University. It is a gift commitment that we hold in high regard as it reflects the positive experiences our donors have enjoyed at WSU and their confidence in the future of the university. More than 600 donors have shared with us that they have made provisions for a future gift to benefit WSU.

A gift of this magnitude is often considered by donors for many months or years as they reflect on what they would like to accomplish with their support that would be meaningful for the university and bring them personal satisfaction. During this process, the gift is sometimes initiated at times of life changes. Motivating events may include changes in health, marital status, retirement, a birth or death or even a long vacation. These occasions give alumni and WSU friends the opportunity to pause and reflect on their legacy, on how they want to be remembered and on how they want to pass along the values important to them.

We are happy to partner with friends during these transitions as they work toward making a legacy gift through a will, trust, life insurance, retirement plan or gift annuity. Through active listening to their vision, a broad understanding of estate planning tools and an awareness of the promising programs at WSU, we can help you connect with the university in ways that are mutually beneficial. Absent one of these life-changing events, we would ask, “why wait?” The process to improve lives and perpetuate the WSU experiences you value begins with a simple phone call or email. Perhaps you would like to help promising students pursue a degree or attract and retain gifted faculty or provide the facilities to pursue cutting-edge research or a moving concert.

Contact us to share your dream and we will suggest ways to match your aspirations with the mission of the university. Let’s dream together.
