Swanegan joined the WSU Foundation on April 27 as senior director of development for the W. Frank Barton School of Business. In addition to seeking philanthropic support for the business school, he also will play a key role in helping raise funds to build a new facility for the Barton School, a top university priority.

Before coming to Wichita State, Swanegan was director of advancement for the School of Health Professions at the University of Missouri. He started there in 2009. Swanegan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.

“I am excited to be a part of such a wonderful team, and am blown away by how warm the Wichita welcome has been,” Swanegan says.
