More than 400 people gathered on Oct. 9 in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom at the Rhatigan Student Center to celebrate the members of the President’s Club. Thirty-two WSU supporters became new President’s Club Lifetime Members, donors who have exceeded $100,000 in contributions in their lifetimes. Annual members gave $3,500-$19,999 during fiscal year 2014. The event, hosted by the WSU Foundation, included comments from Elizabeth King, WSU Foundation president and CEO, and WSU President John Bardo. Marilyn Pauly, WSU Foundation Board of Directors chair, and Paul Allen, chair-elect, presented the new Lifetime Members. Students from the WSU School of Music presented selections from the fall production of “Don Giovanni,” with Samuel Ramey, distinguished faculty of opera, introducing them.
