To our Shocker faithful,

The final stretch of our journey to complete the Shock the World Campaign lies ahead, with 20 months remaining. And what a ride it has been so far!

It is with deep gratitude that I share the news that the generosity of our donors has pushed us over the campaign’s $250 million goal. While this is tremendously exciting, the work of the WSU Foundation and our campus and community partners continues. We have ambitious goals to complete before we can announce in June 2020 that this campaign truly has achieved all of our priorities.

These priorities are:
Campaign ProgessIncrease substantially the scholarships we’re able to offer to students with financial need, and
Campaign ProgessProvide additional funds to help our faculty be their best – as educators, researchers, mentors and innovators.

Along the way, we will also complete fundraising for three capital projects:
Campaign ProgessA new home for the W. Frank Barton School of Business.
Campaign ProgessA new Student Athlete Success Center and renovations to Charles Koch Arena.
Campaign ProgessThe final phase of the Eck Stadium development project.

You will find more information about these priorities in this issue. As you read it, I hope you will be inspired to support one or more of them and make a contribution to the Shock the World Campaign. Only through the generosity of Shocker Nation will we have a victory worth celebrating in 2020 – a university strongly positioned for the future, carrying forward a 125-year legacy of service to students, faculty and community.
