Great kick-offs in FY11

Dear Friends of WSU:

Fiscal year 2011 was full of many beginnings, which positively progressed during the year. We broke ground for the new Advanced Education in General Dentistry facility and kicked-off three new campaigns. The Promise for the Future planned giving campaign will secure the future of Wichita State into perpetuity. The Miró Conservation will save the iconic Joan Miró mosaic on campus. And last, but not least, the Rhatigan Renewal will renovate and expand the hub of our campus. These projects and more are a wonderful testament to the loyalty of our supporters and demonstrate an ever-improving economy.

In this dual purpose issue of Horizon, we gratefully acknowledge the loyal members of the WSU donor family in the Fairmount Society and President’s Club during fiscal year 2011, which ran from July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011.

Because we appreciate and value each of our contributors, you will find a list of all who gave $100-plus during fiscal year 2011 in the Foundation’s annual report on our website in November at wichita.edu/foundation.

Please know that with every gift, you are helping to continue a history of Shocker excellence at WSU. Thank you.

Warmest regards,

Elizabeth H. King
