The Fairmount Society is the university's most distinguished support group. The Fairmount Society Lifetime Achievement membership is extended to donors whose total outright giving is $1 million or more. Lifetime Distinction, a new category this year, includes members who have contributed $500,000-$999,999 during their lifetimes. Lifetime membership is extended to donors who have contributed $250,000-$499,999 in a lifetime. Annual members gave a minimum of $20,000 during the fiscal year. Members of the Fairmount Society were honored at the annual dinner, which was held May 5 at the Wichita Marriott.
