University Libraries

University Libraries

From freshmen writing their first research papers to graduate students completing a thesis, Shockers across the university rely on University Libraries to help them along the way.

The mission of the University Libraries is to be an essential force in teaching and research, and they serve a vital role in educating and providing access to high-impact information resources, preserving intellectual and cultural records, and continually evolving as a research network across campus and the larger community.

The University Libraries Shocker Fund ensures this mission can be carried out year to year, providing funding to areas of need from guest lecturers to updated technology and ever-evolving databases.

Your gift to the Shocker Fund helps the faculty, staff and students of Wichita State University excel in research by providing the funds needed to keep pace in our increasingly digital world.

Now more than ever, students, faculty and the community are turning to online resources, books and databases as a staple in their academic experience. University Libraries needs your help to create access to vital resources needed in an ever changing digital world. Your gift will ensure that materials necessary to be successful in coursework and research are available. You will also provide access to virtual reality equipment, collections and online databases that allow students of all majors at WSU the opportunity to reach for more.
