How to help:

 

We want you to be involved in any way you can. Whether it’s sharing your Shocker Pride to celebrate our past or announcing a pledge to better our future – it all makes a difference.

1.
Make your gift on Founders’ Day. Visit wichita.edu/givingday to make your gift to an area that means the most to you.
2.
Post to your social networks. This is a huge part of being an ambassador. You can find sample posts and images to use across your platforms within this toolkit.
3.
Send emails. Use the email template provided and customize it to your specific cause and personal experience.
4.
Tune in. Log into your social media platforms and see what Shocker Nation is sharing on Founders’ Day. Share content, leave a comment and see how others are celebrating Wichita State.

  • Use the hashtag #GiveWSU and #ShockersGive in your social media posts!
  • Tag the WSU Foundation Facebook (@), Instagram (@), Twitter (@) and LinkdedIn (@) accounts in your posts
  • Share posts from the WSU Foundation Instagram account to your story.
  • Retweet posts from the WSU Foundation Twitter page.
  • Share your unique fundraising page directly with your networks.
  • Make your posts unique! We have suggested copy below, but your posts should reflect your voice – don’t be afraid to share your why.
