For the first time ever WSU Alumni can be a part of Wichita State’s largest single day volunteer opportunity! Join Shocker Nation for Wu’s BIG Event on Saturday, Sept. 20, and serve our local community alongside current students.

Details

Wu’s Big Event, launched in 2016 by the Community Service Board, is a one-day service initiative where Shockers come together to make a difference in the Wichita community. Participants volunteer at over 20 local sites—including organizations like United Way, The YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, and the Kansas Aviation Museum—completing a variety of impactful service projects. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a light breakfast.

Check-In: 8:30 -8:50 am

Kick-Off: 9 am, Beggs Ballroom, 3rd floor Rhatigan Student Center, Wichita State

Service: 10 am – 12 pm
