Volunteer of the Year

Inspired by the honorees of earlier volunteer recognition programs, the Volunteer of the Year award makes a return appearance in 2025. Nominees must be alumni of Wichita State who actively volunteer for the university. This can include participation on boards, advisory councils and committees, providing mentorship to current students, delivering guest lectures or engaging in other forms of service that benefit the Shocker community. Nominees should demonstrate dedication to Wichita State’s mission of higher education, as well as the spirit of giving back.
