Wichita State University’s softball team has seen outstanding growth over the last decade. The $19.85 million Wilkins Stadium renovation plan represents a remarkable commitment to the program and its continued impact on the university, while expanding the opportunity for women student-athletes at Wichita State.

Creates a world-class facility capable of hosting potential AAC conference championship and NCAA regional and super regional championships.
Enhances fan experience elements to include outfield area/event pavilions and additional seating throughout the stadium.

Phase Overview

The proposed $19.85 million renovation to Wilkins Stadium provides a definitive plan through which WSU will be positioned to maximize student-athlete development, recruitment and retention, helping build a consistent championship-level softball program and highlighting the caliber of female athletes at Wichita State.
