  • Donor Engagement Project Manager – (Marketing & Communications)

    The Wichita State University Foundation is looking to hire a Project Manager to work with our donor engagement team (marketing & communications). This position is responsible for managing all donor engagement projects’ workflow, including marketing appeals and campaigns, video shoots, publication timelines, websites initiatives, social media and email calendars, etc., from creative briefing through completion. As the project manager, the position will interface with various internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple moving project parts simultaneously. We require someone who is highly detail-oriented, flexible, and can prioritize and communicate effectively in a fast-paced creative environment.

    Minimum requirements for the position include:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
    • 2 years of project management experience within communication, marketing, or advertising agency setting
    • Successful experience with creative production ensuring teams provide high-quality deliverables that meet client standards
    • Commitment to the WSU Foundation core values of Integrity, Service, Teamwork and Relationships

    Preferred requirements:

    • Experience with Podio or other project management systems
    • Knowledge of Wichita State University and a commitment to higher education.

  • Associate Director for Foundation Grants

    The Wichita State University Foundation is looking to hire a talented individual as an Associate Director for Foundation Grants to work with foundation, campus, and corporate sources in securing funding to further the mission of Wichita State University. This individual will be responsible for the identification, preparation, management, and stewardship of grant opportunities and will have the opportunity to collaborate with all levels of the organization.

    Minimum requirements for the position include:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong written communication skills; ability to write well-structured, persuasive proposals
    • Elevated organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Commitment to the WSU Foundation core values: Integrity, Service, Teamwork, and Relationships
    • Must project professional image at all times

    • Two years of successful experience grant writing and/or nonprofit fundraising
    • Knowledge of Wichita State University and a commitment to higher education.
