Allen Gibbs & Houlik Faculty Fellowship in Accounting

The accounting firm of Moberly & West was founded in Wichita in 1938. Nearly fifty years later, members of the firm formed Allen Gibbs & Houlik (AGH) which has grown to be one of the largest accounting firms in the Midwest. CEO Paul Allen has been the driving force behind success that has landed them a very positive local, regional and national reputation. According to Mr. Allen, ‘We set standards. That’s our corporate culture.’ He has served for many years on the Kansas Board of Accountancy and several other board and nonprofits including United Way of the Plains. Mr. Allen helped establish AGH as a company with nontraditional objectives that focus on more than just accounting. AGH’s staff is comprised of more than 100 employees and eight business divisions.

To assist Wichita State University in its mission to produce top quality graduates, AGH established the Allen Gibbs & Houlik Faculty Fellowship in Accounting. The fund provides significant research and salary support to deserving faculty.
