Benjamin J. and Bettie M. Gibson Breeding Lectureship Fund

Mrs. Breeding began attending the University of Wichita in 1952 and completed her bachelor of business administration in 1962, taking classes primarily at night during that time. She worked with the Internal Revenue Service in the Kansas City area while Mr. Breeding worked as a building inspector. Both were strong supporters of Wichita State and the W. Frank Barton School of Business. Mrs. Breeding died in 2008 and Mr. Breeding died in 2013.

This fund was established to bring to the WSU campus distinguished lecturers in the fields of government, business and education. The Breedings also endowed scholarships in business and for graduates of Wichita North High School who enroll at Wichita State.
