Berry Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Business

The Berry Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Business was established with contributions from the Berry Foundation. Berry Companies Inc., based in Wichita, operates equipment distributorships in six mid-western states. Many in its management group are Wichita State graduates. Fred Berry, chairman, is not an alumnus but is an enthusiastic supporter of the university. His bachelor’s degree is from the University of Illinois, and he has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. He is a member of the WSU Foundation National Advisory Council and the Barton School Dean’s Advisory Board.

The scholarship was established by the Berry Foundation to reward hard-working business students as a part of the ‘We are Wichita State’ fundraising campaign of 2005. It will continue to be supplemented by the Berry Foundation and Berry family.
