Bob and Darlene Anderson Women’s Basketball Scholarship

After 25 years of teaching at Wichita State University, Dr. Robert ‘Bob’ Anderson, professor emeritus of education administration and supervision, retired in 1992. A graduate of the University of Iowa, his career in education spanned more than 40 years. Mrs. Darlene Anderson, also a UI graduate, earned her master’s in education from WSU in 1972. A school nurse with the Wichita Public School District, she retired in 1991. The Andersons established 20 endowed scholarships, fellowships and awards at Wichita State in their lifetimes. These are in men’s and women’s athletics, academic departments and student activities.
