Bob & Pat White Endowed Scholarship in Business

Bob M. White, CEO and owner of White International, graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1967. After which he attended Cowley County Community College and graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Wichita State University. In 1976, he completed his MBA from WSU and became a CPA that same year.

After graduating, Mr. White continued his university involvement, particularly with the Alumni Association. A past member of the Association’s board of directors, he co-founded and served as president of the Chicago Alumni Chapter and serves on the WSU Foundation’s National Advisory Council. Mr. White was recognized in 1988 and 1993 as WSU’s Volunteer of the Month and was recipient of the WSU Alumni Achievement Award.

Mr. White’s wife, Patricia, also from Arkansas City, attended WSU in the early 1970s. Both Mr. and Mrs. White are President’s Club Life members and Life members of the Alumni Association. The Bob and Pat White Endowed Scholarship in Business is a reflection of Mr. White’s fond memories of and an excellent education received from the university. Their desire is to help working, married transfer students from Cowley County Community College, which was the route to college they took.
