Bobbie J. Bastian Endowed Fellowship in the School of Music

Bobbie Bastian was a member of PEO, Junior League of Wichita, Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota, professional music fraternity, past president of the Wichita Historical Museum, Rotary Ann and was Women of the Year in 1946 at Northwestern University where she graduated with a degree in music. She was devoted to her church, St. James Episcopal, where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the Choir and had directed both the Adult Choir and the Liturgical Men and Boys Choir.
