Britt M. Brown Scholarship in Business

Mr. Britt M. Brown graduated from Wichita State University with honors in 1974 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He worked his way up at UBS Financial Services Inc. to become senior vice president of investments.

Mr. Brown and his wife, Mrs. Lynn Brown, have three children. His son, Ruse, graduated from WSU in 2007 and now works alongside him at UBS. Ruse began his college education at another university, but after transferring to WSU, he said there was no comparison in the business programs. Mr. Brown served on the WSU Foundation Board of Governors (now the National Advisory Council) for 12 years and continues to be active in the community, serving on numerous boards and charities.

Mr. Brown established the Britt M. Brown Scholarship in Business in 2012 to give financially-challenged students a chance to live up to their potential and excel in business.
