Carl and Thelma Dewell Endowed Scholarship

Carl and Thelma Dewell believed strongly in the importance of higher education. In an effort to help students who couldn’t afford to attend college on their own, they set aside a portion of their estate for a general scholarship. Following the passing of Mrs. Dewell in 2002, the Carl and Thelma Dewell Endowed Scholarship was established. The Dewell’s contribution has carried on the couple’s desire to help make a difference in the lives of many students.
