Charlaine & Lynette Furley Scholarship

The Charlaine & Lynette Furley Scholarship was established by their family as a legacy to the two sisters, who both attended Wichita State University. Charlaine received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Wichita in 1906. She majored in elementary education. Lynette studied the arts. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in general studies in 1903. Both sisters have passed away, but their legacies still live on through the students whose lives have been positively changed because of the generous donations made in Charlaine’s and Lynette’s memory.
