Trudy Swint Education Scholarship/Fellowship

Ms. Swint earned a bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University and a Masters of Education and Specialist in Education from Wichita State University. After working in the classroom and as a school administrator, she began what would be a career of more than 25 years in financial planning. Ms. Swint has provided financial support to WSU Athletics, KMUW public radio and the WSU College of Education. She served on the WSU Foundation’s Planned Giving Council, the College of Education Advisory Board and as a mentor to Shocker women’s basketball. Ms. Swint established this scholarship as a testament to her commitment to education at all levels.
