Wichita Gem and Mineral Society Scholarship Fund

The Wichita Gem and Mineral Society Inc. is a nonprofit, educational organization. The Society has worked hard over the years to promote knowledge of and activity within the field of lapidary arts. Members of the organization take field trips to develop a better understanding of earth sciences in regards to fossils, artifacts, gems, minerals, rocks and other similar objects. In an effort to increase involvement in lapidary arts, members of the Wichita Gem and Mineral Society Inc. have established the Wichita Gem and Mineral Society Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is awarded to Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences geology students.
