William (Bill) and Gayla M. Henry Scholarship
Mrs. Henry earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in elementary education from Wichita State University and went on to a career as a teacher. Mr. Henry was hired as a sales engineer at Associated Industries Inc. in Wichita in 1955 and became president of the company in 1971. Associated Industries provides composite materials, adhesives and sealants for a variety of industries, including aviation, marine and transportation applications. This fund represents the Henry family’s commitment to education and to Wichita State and the Wichita community. Scholarships are awarded to students in the College of Education or College of Engineering.
