William R. and Mila Kimel Endowed Scholarship

William Kimel attended Wichita University from 1940-1942 before transferring to Kansas State University. While at WU, he was a member of both the football and track teams. Through his estate the William R. and Mila Kimel Endowed Scholarship was established for those junior-or senior-level students enrolled in the College of Engineering. Created in 2003, the scholarship honors the memory of Mr. Kimel and his wife, Mila.
