WSUFAE welcomes advisory council and Board members

The Wichita State University and Alumni Engagement is honored to welcome new members to its National Advisory Council (NAC) and WSUFAE Board of Directors, each of whom will begin their service on July 1. “Our council advisors and Board members bring to the table valuable expertise that will help us achieve our strategic goals in support of Wichita State,” said Telly McGaha, WSUFAE president and CEO. “It’s with high expectations and full Shocker gratitude that we welcome the service of these new members.”

Joining the National Advisory Council

RACHEL DOUGLASS ’12, MKTG, currently works as senior manager of communications and external affairs at Textron eAviation. Actively involved in the community and on campus, Rachel serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Barton School of Business and is chairing the Barton School’s 2026 Centennial Celebration. She and her family reside in Wichita.

SHAWN LANCELOT ’98, MKTG, having held multiple roles at Bank of America since joining in 1989, now serves as president of the organization’s Wichita operations. He has accepted an appointment to NAC, in addition to his engagement on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Barton School of Business. He lives in Wichita.

MICHAEL SCHLOTTERBECK ’07, CHEM BUS, ’07 ECON, principal at Deloitte Consulting, where he leads Industrial Products companies through large digital manufacturing transformations, was instrumental in starting Deloitte’s Smart Factory on the Innovation Campus at WSU. A member of the Barton School Alumni Council and NAC, he resides in Kansas City.

JESS STITT CARTER ’08 SPAN, ’09 IE, ’22 M BUS ADM, accepted a position at her alma mater as an ITS business analyst, after working for Spirit AeroSystems, Bombardier and Koch Industries. In addition to her service on the Fairmount College Advisory Council and WSUFAE Alumni Engagement Advisory Board, she joins NAC. She and her husband live in Wichita.

Joining the National Advisory Council and WSUFAE Board of Directors

DARREN ERCOLANI ’93, ACCT, member of the Barton School Dean’s Advisory Board, has served as executive vice president and CFO of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since 2022 and joins the NAC along with the WSUFAE Board of Directors for the upcoming term of service. Since joining the company, he has held several roles in commercial and corporate strategy, finance management, treasury functions and more. He lives in The Woodlands, Texas.

MICHAEL FISCHER ’91, ACCT, partner at Ernst & Young accounting firm, currently serves as a senior audit partner as part of EY’s Professional Practice Group. In his 35-year career, he has held many roles, including as EY’s U.S. Director of PCAOB Regulatory Matters and as the audit partner-in-charge on several large multinational companies. Michael spent 7 years

working in Europe in a variety of technical roles as part of EY’s SEC Capital Markets Group and has served in multiple offices including Wichita, Kansas City, Frankfurt, London, Zurich and New York City offices. Mike joins NAC and the WSUFAE Board of Directors. He resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.

THOR KISSMAN ’93, AEROS E, with more than two decades of experience in technology development and delivery, leads vehicle systems engineering within Boeing Defense, Space & Security and directs Boeing’s Homeland Missile Defense Layer development program. The aerospace engineering alum will serve on both NAC and the WSUFAE Board of Directors. He lives in El Segundo, California.

NICHOLAS TEJEDA ’01, BUS MGMT, is Group President, Western Group for Tenet Healthcare. Having held various CEO posts, he was named the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year by the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2017 and was recently elected to serve on both NAC and the WSUFAE Board of Directors. The business management alum lives in El Paso, Texas.

Current National Advisory Councilmembers joining the WSUFAE Board of Directors

ERIN CUMMINGS ’09, FIN, who recently launched Armine + Ambrose, a semi-fine jewelry brand, is a multi-skilled author, investor and entrepreneur. Since graduating, Erin has remained highly involved in the Barton School of Business, where she serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board and helped to establish the student-managed investment fund. An NAC member since 2022, this new Board member resides in Houston, Texas.

TADD FOWLER ’90, ACCT, serves as Senior Vice President, Treasurer & Global Taxes at Procter & Gamble, managing treasury and tax matters for the company. A member of the Tax Foundation’s Board of Directors and executive in residence to the Barton School of Business, Tadd has been a member of the NAC since 2024 and joins the WSUFAE Board of Directors this year for his first term. The accountancy alum lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
