Lifting Shockers up on Founders’ Day of Giving

Over the last 128 years, Shocker Nation has grown from a small private school to a worldwide community. It has launched the careers of thousands of students, creating a place for them to become leaders and innovators.

This dedication to student success is what drives the university forward and leads to changes large and small, ensuring all who leave our campus are equipped to challenge what’s possible and learn from failure to find new ways forward.

Along with the many changes the university has weathered through the years, the mission to provide an affordable and accessible education has remained constant; and our ability to achieve that mission is only possible through the generosity of the many alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the university who believe in investing in the university’s continued growth.

This year, you can be a part of it. Join us to support these efforts with Wichita State’s second annual Founders’ Day of Giving on Thursday, September 14. It’s a day for all of Shocker Nation to come together and join us to help make our university all that it can be.

No matter when you last passed through the halls of Wichita State University, you are an important part of the past, present and future of Shocker Nation. A community that encompasses corporate executives and budding entrepreneurs, Broadway stars and local difference makers; all of whom can make a difference for those who have yet to become a part of it.
