What are you studying, and what year will you graduate?
I am majoring in health science and will graduate in May 2024. I am also an outfielder on the WSU Softball team!

What is your favorite memory (so far) from your time on the softball team?
I’ve made so many great memories traveling with the team. It’s always so exciting when we beat ranked teams.

Who is a peer who has inspired you during your time here?
My teammate/friend, Caroline Tallent (Junior, utility player). She sees the good in everything and has gotten me through so many tough situations. She’s there for me no matter what and really believes in me.

What excites you about the upcoming softball season?
I can’t wait to show the younger players what college softball is all about! Also, like I said before, I love traveling with the team and can’t wait to play in different locations this year.

What’s the best spot on campus?
I think it’s the Rhatigan Student Center because it has so many food options and plenty of study spots, too.

The University is in the process of renovating Wilkins Stadium. What does this remodel mean for the program?
The new Wilkins Stadium will make a huge difference for our team. It will be so convenient to have our own space because that makes practice schedules much easier. Not only is our program getting what it deserves, but the new facility can be a factor in recruiting new players as well. I see it as an investment in Shocker Softball. It will pull more fans out to games and create more interactions with the city of Wichita.

What are you currently reading/watching/listening to?
I’m currently watching Yellowstone!!

About the Wilkins Stadium Renovation
